Nisan is the month when the Children of Israel began their exodus from Egypt and slavery. It is the first month of the Hebrew spiritual year. Freedom has a starting point and is continually walked out. Be constantly in wonder at what God is doing in your life.
Release your old bonds and do not look back. Don't bring your past into your new land. Don't bring the idols, the culture, or romanticize the old way of life. This new thing that God is guiding you toward will require total devotion to His ways, and reverence for His commands.
Long and enduring faith is needed to reach your promised land. Often times it is not that our faith is too small, but that it is too short. A long miracle is no less a marvel and a wonder than an instant work or quick healing.
Continual guidance from God's revealed will is needed all along the way. Remember to faithfully repeat the "way" and directions clearly given. To fear God is to hate what He has called evil. Culture may slander you and call you "intolerant" but it is better to be mislabeled intolerant by culture than to be lukewarm toward God.
