Strength in Joy - Word for Adar 2020

This is a season of realizing your true identity as a child a God who gives you strength in joy.

The Hebrew month of Adar :February 26th - March 25th

Curses and words decreed against you are broken. By the blood of Jesus, they have been canceled. Sometimes we allow things to hold power over our life simply because we believe it has power. Decree today the Blood of Jesus over your life and recognize that word curses are broken and hold no power over you. Listen closely to the words you speak about yourself in your mind. Many "curses" spoken against us actually came from our own lips. Let Holy Spirit show you if you've inadvertently spoke curses over yourself and choose to start speaking life over yourself and those in your sphere of influence. (James 3:10)

Remove false labels and masks. Who are you really?  Be filled with gratitude toward God for how He created you completely unique. No more hiding behind labels and masks living as you perceive you should be, it's time to be who you really are based on what God says about you.

This is a month of God's Provision. You may see Him move "and suddenly" in your life. Do you have things in your life that you've been praying over for years? It's been said that sometimes God takes a long time to act suddenly. The season of seemingly nothing is actually building areas of character needed for the next season of growth. Be alert to how God is answering prayers this month that have long been on your lips.

Adar is one of the most Joy-filled months of the year. This is the month when Purim is celebrated, which is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from destruction in the wake of a plot by Haman, a story recorded in the Biblical Book of Esther. Let's find strength in joy and rejoice that God has delivered us from sin and death by Jesus blood and righteousness - which is the ultimate deliverance! "The joy of the Lord is our strength" (Neh. 8:10)
